How to get test results
You can log into your NHS App or Patient Access to get your test results.
If you haven't registered yet, you can use the link below to download the NHS app or Patient Access.
Please note that we do have a strict policy regarding confidentiality and data protection. This means that we can only give out results to the person they relate to unless that person has given permission or are not capable of understanding them.
Alternatively you can call us on 01803 557458, option 3, between 9am and 3pm. Please note our patient care coordinators cannot interpret results.
How long does it take to get my test results?
When you attend a test of any kind, you will be told how long you should expect to wait for the results.
Blood test results can take up to 10 working days to get back and be checked by your GP.
If there is anything that needs discussing further, your GP will call you as soon as they get the results back.
We are unable to routinely contact patients about normal test results or those not requiring any further action.
Please contact the hospital directly for results following hospital tests and investigations.
X-Ray and Scan results can take up to 15 working days to appear in your online app or patient record.
